NACHUM BRAVERMAN, EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
Nachum Braverman studied philosophy
at Yale University, and earned rabbinical ordination at Aish HaTorah
College of Jewish studies in Jerusalem.
From 1983 to 2000 he was the Educational Director of Aish HaTorah for the Western
Region. He is now the West Coast Director of the Jerusalem Fund of Aish HaTorah.
He is the author of The Bible for the Clueless But Curious, The Hidden Gift (illusrated by Ed Li), and together
with Shimon Apisdorf he is the author of The Death of Cupid: Reclaiming the
Wisdom of Love, Dating, Romance, and Marriage.
His writings on relationships and contemporary issues have been published in
many periodicals including The New York Times. Rabbi Braverman and his family live in Los Angeles.
