PROFESSOR NATHAN GLAZER

Professor Nathan Glazer is professor emeritus of education and sociology at Harvard University.  He has authored many books including (the classic) "Beyond the Melting Pot", with Daniel Patrick Moynihan; "The Lonely Crowd", with David Riesman (also a classic); and "We Are All Multiculturalists Now".

From 1973 to 2002, he was editor of The Public Interest, together with Irving Kristol.  He has been assistant editor of Commentary, and he is currently a contributing editor to The New Republic.
