SHELBY NOTKIN

Shelby Notkin is Chairman of Capital Guardian Trust Company’s Personal Investment Management division, a Senior Vice President of Capital Guardian Trust Company, a Nevada Corporation, and a member of the Investment Committee and Operating Committee. 

Prior to joining them in 1993 he spent 18 years with Morgan Stanley where he established its presence on the West Coast in 1977.  Earlier he was with E.F. Hutton in New York City.  He is a member of the Security Analysts of San Francisco, having served as a Director and Program Chairman for four years. 

Mr. Notkin earned a BS in accounting and finance from Syracuse University.  He is based in West Los Angeles.
